On April 23, the 2026 Industry Annual Meeting and Industry Quality Development Exchange Conference, hosted by the Zhuhai Semiconductor Industry Association, was grandly held at the Hyatt Regency Zhuhai Gongbei. This year's meeting, themed "Chips Gather in Zhuhai, Intelligence Drives the Future," gathered representatives from government authorities, industry experts, research institutes, and upstream and downstream enterprises along the industrial chain to discuss new pathways for collaborative industrial development. Concurrently with the annual meeting, the annual heavyweight award results were announced. Driven by the explosive growth of markets such as AI glasses, AI toys, and desktop robots, end-device manufacturers have imposed higher requirements on the functional integration, audio-video processing performance, and SDK interface compatibility of wireless communication chips. Taixin Semiconductor's TXW81X is an independently developed audio-video Wi-Fi SOC chip series. It integrates 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and BLE dual-mode wireless connectivity capabilities, includes a built-in local MJPEG audio-video encoding and decoding module, and can directly interface with eight mainstream large model platforms, including DeepSeek, Doubao, Tongyi Qianwen, Baidu, Coze, iFLYTEK LingSi, Kuqi, and TanGe. Featuring Bluetooth provisioning and dual-mode coexistence, it provides solid technical support for the innovative upgrade of artificial intelligence terminal products.
Zhuhai is one of the key hubs for the integrated circuit industry in Guangdong Province. In recent years, the scale of Zhuhai's IC industry has continued to expand. In 2024, the industry's main business revenue reached 19.495 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year growth of over 20%, with the growth rate ranking among the top in the province.
